jar of seaglass o1

Everything about living by the ocean in San Diego inspired this piece... the breeze, mist, froth, cliffs, teal white light, pebbles, shells... and, of course, soft pale worn glass from distant shores. This piece, composed of Thai beehive paper encased in pigmented resin and sandwiched between several panels of 1/8” acrylic, represents the abstract patterns, depth of luminosity, and fluctuations in hues of sea glass when collected in a clear jar.
